INSTRUCTIONS FOR UV PLUS!
SUBLIMATION BLANKS
1) Original
350 to 365 degrees for 60 to 75 seconds. Darker colors and larger sized pieces require higher temp and time. Use light to light medium pressure for heat pressing.
My normal setting is 355 to 365 degrees for 60 seconds with an auto license plate and light pressure (20lbs). A 24" x 36" print @ 390 for 60 seconds with higher pressure - 24 to 30lbs
Two-Sided White and small items (dog tags, 2" round) use 350 degrees max, 60 seconds max and VERY light pressure.
2)
NEW and IMPROVED HEAT PRESS PROCEDURE
for two-sided blanks and small items
Increase temperature to 385 degrees (400 maximum) reduce time to 30 seconds, allow to remain untouched for an additional 30 seconds in the heat press before handling. Use VERY light pressure. Add fleece to bottom heat platen. Press both sides at the same time or each side by itself. Please allow the item to cool before pressing it a second time.
Material Set Up
Transfer on bottom facing up for white side. Add transfer on top facing down for brushed aluminum side or the second white side.
Aluminum blank white face down on transfer (clean blank with alcohol before using to remove any impurities)
Place light to medium weight paper on top covering the entire item.
Prepress for 5 to 10 seconds if needed to remove moisture
Heat press for 60 to 75 seconds max.
Note: The above information has produced consistent fine art quality results using an Epson printer and Epson Inks. Other inks and paper can create varying results.
Please contact me if you have any questions or I can be of service.
Best,
